Steering & Suspension
Your technician will road test and inspect your auto for the following:
- Vehicle ride height
- Spring/torsion bar mounting and condition
- Shock absorber mounting, leaks, and operation
- McPherson strut mounting, leaks, and operation
- Steering linkage; idler arm, pitman arm, center link, and tie rods for wear
- Control arms and bushings for wear
- Ball joint wear
- Power steering pump, hoses, and steering assist components
- Rack and pinion/sector shaft steering gear box wear, leaks, and adjustment
